Ray Wojcik is the Compliance Manager at Advantax. Leading this team, Ray is responsible for developing and executing innovative, personalized property tax strategies that meet the high expectations of Advantax’s customers.

Before joining Advantax, Ray was Senior Tax Manager at CareFusion Corporation a global medical technology company and a spinoff of Cardinal Health. His responsibilities included sales and use tax audits, research and planning along with real estate, personal property compliance, tax audits, and research and planning for all CareFusion companies. Prior to CareFusion’s founding, Ray was Senior Tax Manager at Cardinal Health, one of the world’s largest distributors of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies. Cardinal Health purchased Allegiance Healthcare Corporation in February 1999. While with Allegiance, he significantly reduced the company’s personal property taxes through a thorough review of its filing methods, and in Allegiance’s first year reduced the company’s sales tax exposure by $11 million via implementation of an automated tax system, as well as closely managing all field audits and reverse sales tax audits.

Ray is an active member of the Chicago Tax Club having served in many capacities including President. He has been a member of the Council on State Taxation, Tax Executives Institute (TEI), Institute for Professionals in Taxation (IPT) and the Illinois State Chamber of Commerce. He holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from Loyola University.
